POSTPONED: Due to the uncertainties of COVID19 impact on the school calendar. JA of Ashtabula County's primary concern is for the health and well being of the entire community.
JA Volunteers are needed for the JA Innovation Challenge at Conneaut Middle School on May 19, 2020 from 7 AM to 2 PM. JA Volunteers will be assisting student teams complete the JA Innovation Program as they learn about creating a pitch to an investor, marketing, public speaking and teamwork. Student teams will design a new Dairy Queen Blizzard Flavor and then create a pitch and marketing board and go through a series of pitch elimination rounds. The top nine teams will present to the owner of Dairy Queen and a panel of judges. The final three teams will then get to create their flavor at Dairy Queen and it will be sold during a DQ Conneaut Community Blizzard Day. The top selling Blizzard flavor will be deemed the winner and this flavor will be offered all summer. The student winners' names will be added to the DQ JA Innovation trophy.
